About the Role

Key Responsibilities (Teaching - Humanities)
- Teach Psychology to Classes XI-XII as per CBSE curriculum and guidelines.
- Prepare lesson plans, notes, case studies, worksheets, and assessments aligned with CBSE standards.
- Conduct regular tests, practicals, projects, and internal assessments as prescribed by CBSE.
- Support students in board examination preparation and project work.
- Maintain records of attendance, assessments, and academic progress.

Key Responsibilities (Counselling)
- Conduct individual and group counselling sessions for students.
- Address students’ academic stress, emotional concerns, behavioral issues, and personal challenges.
- Guide students on study skills, time management, goal setting, and exam preparedness.




- Provide career guidance and help students make informed academic and career choices.
- Work closely with teachers, parents, and school leadership to support student well-being.
- Maintain confidentiality and proper documentation of counselling sessions.
- Conduct workshops, awareness programs, and life-skills sessions for students.

Eligibility Criteria
- Master’s Degree in Psychology from a recognized university.
- B.Ed. degree is mandatory (as per CBSE norms).
- Diploma or certification in Counselling / Guidance Psychology will be an added advantage.
- Prior teaching or counselling experience in a school setting is preferred.
- Sound knowledge of CBSE Psychology syllabus and assessment pattern.
