Position Overview:
The Trainee - Accounts will support the day-to-day operations of the Finance & Accounting team, focusing primarily on invoice processing, journal entry posting, and balance sheet account reconciliations. The position requires strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and the ability to work in a rapid-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
- Review vendor invoices for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies.
- Coordinate with internal teams and vendors to resolve discrepancies.
- Prepare standard journal entries such as accruals, reclassifications, and adjustment entries.




- Perform monthly reconciliations of AP accounts
- Support documentation updates for SOPs and process improvements.

Education, Experience, and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in commerce (B.Com) or Business Administration (BBA) with a focus on Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Fresher or up to 1 year of internship/experience in finance, accounting, or AP/AR preferred (not mandatory).
- Basic understanding of accounting principles (debits/credits, accruals, ledgers).
- Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Table preferred).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving mindset.
