1. Machine Setup:
- Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and job orders.

2. Tool and Material Management
- Choose the correct cutting tools based on material and process.
- Measure and inspect tools to ensure proper condition.
- Replace worn or damaged tools as needed.
- Load raw material into the machine or fixtures.

3. Quality Control
- Inspect the first piece and compare it to specifications using gauges, micrometers, calipers, or CMM.
- Make necessary adjustments to meet tolerance requirements.
- Document setup parameters and inspection results.
- Coordinate with Quality Control (QC) for approval of first-off components.

4. Maintenance and Troubleshooting
- Monitor machine operation and identify issues.
- Perform basic preventive maintenance (cleaning, lubrication, etc.).
- Troubleshoot machine or tool problems and escalate if needed.
- Ensure machines and work areas are clean and secure.

5. Production Support




- Assist operators in understanding the setup and machining process.
- Support the transition from one job to another by reducing downtime.
- Optimize setups to reduce machining time and improve efficiency.

6. Documentation and Communication
- Maintain setup sheets and update them for future reference.
- Communicate with production supervisors, CNC programmers, and quality teams.
- Record production data and setup times.
- Select and install appropriate tools, jigs, and fixtures.
- Set up workpieces on the machine table or fixtures.
- Input or load CNC programs into the machine controller.
- Set tool offsets, work offsets, and zero points.
- Perform dry runs and trial machining for setup verification.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹23,000.00 per month
