Role Description
- Perform in-process and final inspection of machined steel casting components as per drawings and quality requirements.
- Carry out visual and dimensional inspection of raw and machined castings to identify defects and deviations.
- Use measuring instruments such as vernier calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and related inspection tools.
- Ensure inspection activities meet customer specifications and ISO qualitystandards.
- Prepare and maintain final inspection reports, records, and quality documentation.
- Support instrument maintenance and calibration activities.
- Coordinate with production and machine shop teams for non-conformance control and corrective actions.
- Work in rotational shifts as per production requirements.

Qualifications
- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical / Production / Foundry or related discipline.
- Experience in quality inspection within a steel casting machine shop is preferred.




- Same manufacturing experience in steel casting or similar heavy engineering industries preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and inspection standards.

Skills
- Strong knowledge of visual and dimensional inspection techniques.
- Proficiency in using measuring instruments (Vernier calipers, micrometers).
- NDT certification or knowledge (UT / MT / PT) is preferred.
- Good understanding of ISO standards and quality documentation.
- Attention to detail with good coordination skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
