The OET / IELTS / PTE Trainer is responsible for training students and professionals to achieve target scores in English proficiency exams required for overseas education, healthcare registration, and migration. The role focuses on exam strategies, language proficiency, and learner success outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Training Delivery
- Conduct training sessions for:
- OET (Healthcare-specific English):
- IELTS (Academic & General):
- PTE (Academic):
- Train students in all four modules:
- Listening
- Reading
- Writing
- Speaking
- Deliver classroom, online, and hybrid sessions:
- Use exam-oriented teaching methods, mock tests, and role plays
Curriculum & Content Development
- Develop and update training materials:
- Lesson plans
- Practice worksheets
- Mock tests & assessments
- Customize training as per:
- Student level
- Target score
- Exam format updates
- Stay updated with changes in OET, IELTS, and PTE exam patterns
- Provide individual feedback and improvement plans:
- Track student progress and readiness for exam booking
- Support students with weak areas through remedial sessions
Academic & Placement Support
- Guide students on:
- Exam strategies & time management
- Speaking confidence & writing accuracy
- Support overseas education / healthcare migration teams with:
- Score verification
- Readiness confirmation
- Maintain student performance records
Reporting & Administration
- Maintain batch attendance and training reports
- Submit weekly/monthly progress reports
- Coordinate with counsellors and academic coordinators
Required Skills & Competencies
- Excellent command of English (spoken & written)
- Solid facilitation and student engagement skills
- Sound knowledge of OET / IELTS / PTE formats
- Ability to train diverse learners (students, working professionals, healthcare staff)
