We are looking for a skilled Hindi Translator to translate and localize content from English (or other source language) into natural, culturally accurate Hindi. The role requires strong command over Hindi grammar, tone, and regional neutrality, along with attention to context and consistency.

Key Responsibilities
- Translate content from Source Language → Hindi with high accuracy and natural readability.
- Localize dialogues/scripts to match culture, tone, and context (not word-to-word).
- Maintain terminology consistency using glossaries and style guides.
- Ensure correct grammar, punctuation, spelling, and appropriate Hindi register (formal/informal).
- Adapt content for platform needs: subtitles, dubbing scripts, UI text, documents, marketing copy (as applicable).
- Follow client instructions: character limits, subtitle timing constraints, tone requirements, etc.
- Proofread and self-review before submission; fix feedback in revisions.
- Coordinate with QC/Project Coordinator for clarifications and final delivery.

Required Skills:
- Excellent written Hindi (grammar, idioms,



sentence flow).
- Strong comprehension of English (or specified source language).
- Ability to write in neutral/standard Hindi and adjust tone as needed.
- Robust attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Basic understanding of localization workflows and quality standards.
- Preferred (Good to Have)
- Experience in OTT/TV localization, subtitling, dubbing adaptation.
- Familiarity with tools like Google Docs/Sheets, MS Word, Subtitle Edit, Aegisub, CAT tools (Trados/MemoQ).
- Knowledge of Hindi typing tools and Unicode formatting.
- Understanding of censorship/sensitive content handling (platform guidelines).

Qualifications

Graduate in Hindi/English/Mass Comm/Translation/Linguistics or equivalent experience.

Experience: 0-1 years (fresher) / 1-3 years (preferred) / 3+ years (senior).
