Senior HR Statutory Compliance Officer (Factory Construction Project)
Role & responsibilities :
- Ensure compliance with all applicable labour laws and statutory regulations, including CLRA, BOCW, EPF, ESIC, Minimum Wages Act, Payment of Wages Act, and Contract Labour regulations.
- Monitor and verify statutory compliance of contractors and subcontractors deployed at project sites.
- Review and maintain records related to employee attendance, wage registers, muster rolls, leave records, and statutory returns.
- Coordinate monthly compliance audits for contractors and ensure timely closure of observations and non-compliances.
- Facilitate timely remittance and reconciliation of EPF, ESIC, Labour Welfare Fund, and other statutory contributions.
- Liaise with government authorities, labour departments, PF/ESIC officials, and inspectors during audits, inspections, and enquiries.
- Ensure all labour licenses, registrations,
and statutory certificates are valid and renewed within stipulated timelines.
- Prepare and submit statutory returns, reports, and compliance MIS to management as per project requirements.
- Conduct awareness sessions for contractors, supervisors, and employees on labour law compliance and statutory obligations.
- Support HR operations related to onboarding, employee documentation, grievance handling, and compliance-related investigations at project sites.
Preferred candidate profile
- Any Graduate with experience 5-10 years of experience in HR statutory compliance, preferably in construction, EPC, infrastructure, or manufacturing projects.
- Thorough knowledge of Indian labour laws and contractor compliance management.
