Senior Node.js Developer

We are looking for a Senior Node.js Developer. As a Senior Node.js

Developer, you will play a key role in our backend engineering efforts,

bridging the gap between high-performance server-side logic and mobile- first user experiences. You'll build scalable APIs and, ideally, leverage your knowledge to ensure seamless mobile integration and occasional front-end contributions.

Core Responsibilities

1. Backend Development: Build robust RESTful or GraphQL APIs using

Node.js and frameworks like Express.js or NestJS.

2. Architecture Contribution: Contribute to application architecture and design decisions for scalable backend services.

3. Mobile Integration: Collaborate with mobile teams (or contribute directly)



to ensure backend performance is optimized for Flutter/mobile consumption.

4. Performance & Scalability: Optimize server-side logic for high concurrency and manage database schema design (MongoDB,

PostgreSQL, or MySQL).

5. Code Quality: Uphold high standards through rigorous code reviews,

unit testing, and automated testing pipelines.

6. Collaboration: Provide technical guidance to junior developers and support them through code reviews and pairing.

Required Skills & Qualifications

1. Robust Node.js Knowledge: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in backend development with deep proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript.
2. Architecture: Experience with microservices, serverless architecture, and secure networking on cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.

3. Database Management: Strong skills in designing and optimizing RDBMS and NoSQL databases.

Bonus: Flutter Development (Preferable but Not Necessary to Have)

1. Cross-Platform Expertise: Familiarity with Dart and the Flutter framework for building iOS and Android apps.

2. State Management: Understanding of state management patterns such as Provider, Bloc, or Riverpod.
3. App Lifecycle: Experience with mobile-specific features like push notifications, offline storage (SQLite/Hive), and app store deployments.

Tools You'll Use

1. Backend: Node.js, Express.js/NestJS, Docker, Redis.
2. Mobile (Plus): Dart, Flutter, Firebase (Auth, Firestore, FCM).
3. DevOps: GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar CI/CD tools.
