The RMEL role at Slam Out Loud is a highly intrapreneurial one, in which you will lead the creation and scaling of our entire Monitoring and Evaluation practice across all states. You will be working directly with the Associate Director of Monitoring & Evaluation and the various Program Directors, to use MEL insights for influencing organisational decisions, programme design and adaptive management.

Your role will help make a clear case to funders, governments and large NGO partners around helping children access an arts-based social-emotional learning education. This role is for you if you are a self-motivated, enthusiastic, self-starter who enjoys developing M&E; strategy, gathering quantitative and qualitative evidence to measure impact, creating frameworks with clear, actionable plans and incisive reporting for program improvement and evaluation.

As a Monitoring and Evaluation Senior Manager, your role will involve:

- Shaping MEL strategy and leading the team behind it : defining what we measure and why, and building a team that owns this practice end-to-end, including generating insights and learnings for programs through ground studies, field visits and other data-driven inputs.
- Owning the data backbone of SOL's programs :



Building and evolving the tech platforms, systems, and tools that let us collect, manage, and act on data at scale (50000-5 million data points). Ensure that every program decision is data-backed, while building dashboards that effectively integrate data from programs.
- Setting the quality bar for how SOL runs its programs: Building robust, defensible frameworks to evaluate program efficacy and quality, embedding data-driven quality standards across every program, in true partnership with the teams delivering them.
- Telling SOL's impact story to the people who matter most : Communicating clearly with internal and external stakeholders including funders, governments, and partners through reporting and communication that is rigorous, clear, and compelling.
- Designing and leading research projects and innovations : driving new research initiatives (ground research, RCTs, a/b tests) and cutting-edge approaches that push SOL's evidence base and program design forward.
- Representing SOL's MEL practice in the wider field: building partnerships and thought leadership that put our evidence and evaluation work on the map.
