Job Summary:

Senior Manager – Forex Risk Analyst to join our consulting team. This role combines high-quality advisory services with proactive client engagement, sales support, and cross-functional collaboration. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of FX markets and financial instruments, along with solid client relationship management skills and a commercial mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

FX Risk Advisory Services

- Analyze clients' business models and risk profiles to design tailored FX risk management strategies.
- Offer practical, actionable advice on FX risk management, aligned with client goals and market conditions.
- Act as a strategic partner to the client’s treasury function, CFO, and other stakeholders.

Client Acquisition & Cross-Selling

- Lead client acquisition through consultative sales and insightful discussions around market risk and its impact on cash flows and profitability.
- Cross-sell a wide range of our offerings, including:
- FX Risk Advisory
- Risk Management Policy Formulation & Review
- Online MIS Services
- Mecklai Risk Manager (Treasury Tech Solution)
- Trade Finance Services
- Currency Futures
- Derivative Valuation & Hedge Accounting

Regional Development (Preferred)

- Collaborate with our Bangalore and Chennai branches to expand presence in South India.




- Drive new client acquisition and deepen engagement with existing clients in the region.
- Willingness to travel frequently for client meetings and team coordination.

Market Analysis & Strategy Development

- Track currency and financial markets (including commodities, equities, etc.).
- Develop and communicate market views for USDINR and other major currencies.
- Formulate and recommend hedging/trading strategies suited to individual client needs.

Client Relationship Management

- Establish regular client touchpoints (daily, fortnightly, monthly).
- Act as the client’s extended market risk support partner.
- Oversee end-to-end client responsibilities including invoicing, renewals, and service enhancements.

Internal Collaboration & Training

- Participate in internal training and knowledge-sharing sessions.
- Support sales efforts from both self-generated and team leads with the guidance of your reporting manager.

Skills and Qualifications:

- Educational: MBA in Finance / CFA / FRM (Preferred)
- Experience: 5 to 12 years in financial services or consulting, with a focus on FX markets
- Technical Proficiency:
- Strong knowledge of currency products: forwards, options, swaps, etc.
- Deep understanding of both fundamental and technical market analysis.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, Google Sheets, and other analytical tools.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong verbal and written communication
- High client orientation and relationship-building ability
- Self-driven with a commercial mindset
- Leadership Abilities:
- Ability to mentor and manage a small team (initially in South India)
- Potential to grow and lead larger regional teams as business expands
