Department: Production Planning & Control (PPC)

Reporting To: PPC Head / Operations Head

Job Summary

Plan, monitor, and control production activities for Tubular Components & Hose Assemblies, ensuring production targets are achieved while meeting Quality, Cost, Delivery (QCD), and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and monitor daily, weekly, and monthly production plans as per customer schedules and capacity.
- Monitor manufacturing processes include Tube Cutting, Deburring, Beading, End Forming, Flaring, 3 & 5 Axis CNC Bending, Drilling, Press Fit, Spot/TIG/MIG/Orbital Welding, Hose Cutting, Crimping & Assembly, Laser Marking, Hydro Testing, Ultrasonic Cleaning, Flushing, Roller Beading, and Leak Testing.
- Ensure production plan adherence, optimum machine utilization, productivity, and manpower allocation.
- Monitor RM, WIP, FG, machine loading, capacity constraints, shortages, and production bottlenecks.
- Coordinate with Production, Development, Quality, Purchase, Maintenance, Stores, and Dispatch.
- Monitor production delays, rejection, rework, downtime, and take corrective actions.
- Maintain PPC MIS,



production plan vs. actual, pending orders, dispatch status, and ERP/MRP entries.
- Support current product trials, capacity planning, tooling/manpower planning, and process improvements.
- Implement 5S, Kaizen, TPM, and safety practices.

Qualifications

- Diploma / B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, or Automobile Engineering.
- 48 years of experience in PPC / Production Planning, preferably in Tubular Components, Tube Bending, Hose Assemblies, or Automotive Manufacturing.
