Role & responsibilities
- Develop overall system architecture in Pure Analog Electronics.
- Design high-reliability DC power electronics operating from a 28 V aircraft power bus.
- Design Li-Ion battery charging circuits using CC-CV charging techniques.
- Develop Battery Management System (BMS) including Cell balancing, State of Charge (SOC) estimation, Battery health monitoring, Thermal monitoring, Protection circuits.
- Design automatic power switchover circuitry with uninterrupted backup operation.
- Design fault monitoring and diagnostics.
- Everything to be done in Analog Electronics (no Microcontroller).
- Perform component selection for aerospace environments.
- Conduct worst-case circuit analysis, derating analysis, thermal analysis, and reliability analysis.
- Prepare design documentation, schematics, interface control documents, and test procedures.
- Support environmental qualification (MIL-STD-810), EMI/EMC testing (MIL-STD-461), and airworthiness certification activities.
- Interface with customers, certification agencies, and testing laboratories.
Preferred candidate profile
- B.E./B.Tech./M.E./M.Tech in Electronics, Electrical, Power Electronics, Instrumentation, or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant Hands-On experience in Industry.
- Experience in designing safety-critical Analog electronic hardware.
