Role Summary

We are looking for a seasoned Senior Design Engineer/Manager to lead engineering design activities, validate technical forms, drive new product development, and provide strong guidance to the engineering team. The ideal candidate will possess robust technical acumen in 3D modeling, load calculations, cross-functional project coordination, and team management.

Key Responsibilities

- Design & Drafting: Study and validate technical forms (TF), prepare precise 2D/3D drawings using AutoCAD and SolidWorks, and perform thorough drawing checks.
- Feasibility & Calculations: Conduct engineering design and load calculations using analysis tools (such as Ansys or STAAD) to verify product feasibility and structural integrity.
- New Product Development: Apply advanced engineering knowledge to conceptualize and develop new products from scratch.
- Team Handling & Leadership: Lead, guide, and mentor the design team, overseeing day-to-day design activities, managing team bandwidth, fostering a team-oriented work environment, and driving overall team performance.




- BOM Management: Prepare and manage accurate Bill of Materials (BOM) for manufacturing and assembly.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Act as the primary technical point of contact for clients, vendors, site teams, and internal departments (sales, project, and production) to resolve drawing queries and ensure smooth manufacturing and on-site fitting.

Required Skills & Competencies

- Team Handling Ability: Proven capability in managing, mentoring, and leading a technical design team to ensure project goals and timelines are successfully met.
- Software Proficiency: Expert-level hands-on experience in 2D & 3D modeling and drafting using AutoCAD and SolidWorks (or equivalent).
- Analysis & Calculations: Proven experience performing structural and load calculations using tools like Ansys or STAAD.
- Process Skills: Demonstrated proficiency in BOM preparation and new product development life cycles.
- Interpersonal & Leadership: Excellent communication, client-handling, and team coordination capabilities coupled with strong leadership, motivation, and man-management skills.
- Relationship Building: Ability to build strong, collaborative relationships with clients, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
