Senior Data Engineer (Snowflake, dbt, SQL, AI)

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Data Management Consultant with 5–10 years of experience to design and deliver contemporary cloud analytics solutions using Snowflake and dbt. This client-facing role requires deep technical expertise and strong consulting skills to build scalable data platforms, optimize ELT pipelines, and translate business requirements into trusted analytics solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and implement scalable Snowflake data warehouse solutions.
- Develop, optimize, and maintain ELT pipelines using dbt and advanced SQL.
- Build analytics-ready data models following modern analytics engineering best practices.
- Gather business requirements and translate them into scalable data solutions.
- Perform data integration, transformation, and performance optimization.
- Lead or support data migration initiatives from on-premises or legacy platforms to Snowflake.
- Provide technical leadership on data modelling standards, transformation patterns, and modern analytics architecture.
- Collaborate with cross-functional business and technical teams using Agile delivery methodologies.
- Support release management for data platforms,



ELT pipelines, and analytics assets throughout the deployment lifecycle.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using GitHub or GitLab.
- Ensure data quality, governance, security, and platform performance.
- Partner with business stakeholders, architects, and engineering teams throughout project delivery.

Required Qualifications
- 5–10 years of experience in Data Engineering or Analytics Engineering.
- 3-5 years of experience with Snowflake (Mandatory).
- 3-5 years of experience with dbt (Mandatory).
- Advanced SQL programming and query optimization.
- Experience building scalable ELT pipelines.
- Strong understanding of Data Modelling and Modern Data Warehousing.
- Experience with GitHub/GitLab and CI/CD.
- Exposure to AI tools such as Sigma, Anthropic, Cursor, and/or Cortex
- Excellent communication and client-facing consulting experience.

Preferred Qualifications
- Workflow orchestration tools (Airflow, Prefect, etc.).
- Snowflake security and RBAC.
- Data migration experience.
- Agile/Scrum delivery experience.
- Release management and analytics platform support.
- Understanding of data governance and security best practices
