Role Description The Senior Chartered Accountant and Financial Mentor will oversee all key financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements. This hybrid role is based in Sanand, with the flexibility to perform some responsibilities from home, and is expected to provide strategic financial guidance to leadership, support decision-making, and optimize cost structures and profitability. Day-to-day tasks include preparing and reviewing financial statements, managing audits, monitoring cash flow, supervising accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring accurate tax planning and filings.





The role will also involve mentoring junior finance team members, establishing robust internal controls, improving financial processes, and partnering with operations and senior management to support sustainable growth.

Qualifications

- Professional qualification as a Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent, with several years of post-qualification experience in manufacturing or related industries.
- Strong expertise in financial accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and preparation and analysis of financial statements.
- In-depth knowledge of tax regulations, statutory compliance, audits, and internal control frameworks.
- Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems, as well as strong Excel and data analysis skills.
- Experience in cost accounting, inventory valuation, and financial planning for production and supply-chain environments.
- Proven ability to mentor and develop finance team members, and to communicate complex financial concepts clearly to non-finance stakeholders.
- Demonstrated skills in strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making, with a focus on efficiency and business growth.
- High level of integrity, attention to detail, and commitment to maintaining confidential financial information.
