We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer with strong hands-on experience in .NET Core, backend development, MongoDB and production debugging.

The role will involve understanding and working with our existing platform, developing and maintaining backend services, troubleshooting production issues, improving application performance, and working closely with the development team to build reliable and scalable applications.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, maintain and troubleshoot backend services and APIs using C# / .NET Core / ASP.NET Core.
- Understand the existing application architecture and identify the root cause of production issues.
- Work extensively with MongoDB, including queries, indexing, aggregation and performance optimization.
- Design and develop scalable and maintainable backend services.
- Debug complex issues across APIs, business logic, databases and integrations.
- Work with Redis for caching and application performance where required.
- Integrate backend services with third-party APIs and other applications.
- Review code and contribute to improving code quality, architecture and development practices.
- Work closely with other developers and provide technical guidance on complex backend issues.
- Ensure backend applications are reliable, performant and production-ready.
- Work with and integrate applications/services built using different technology stacks, such as .NET, Python/FastAPI, Node.js, etc., and troubleshoot issues across these systems when required.

Must Have




- Solid hands-on experience with C# / .NET Core / ASP.NET Core.
- Strong backend development and production debugging skills.
- Strong practical knowledge of MongoDB.
- Good understanding of REST APIs and backend architecture.
- Experience with database design, queries, indexing and performance optimization.
- Good understanding of Redis and caching.
- Ability to understand an existing codebase and independently troubleshoot issues.
- Good understanding of Git and collaborative development workflows.
- Ability to understand and integrate different technology stacks/platforms, even when they are not built on .NET.

Good to Have
- Experience with Microservices.
- Experience with RabbitMQ/Kafka or other messaging systems.
- Experience with Docker.
- Experience working with Python/FastAPI, Node.js or other backend technologies.
- Experience with cloud/production environments.

What We Are Looking For We are looking for someone who is hands-on, strong in backend engineering and genuinely good at solving real production problems, rather than someone who only has technologies listed on their resume.

The candidate should be able to understand an existing backend system, identify root causes, write reliable code, optimize performance, guide other developers and take ownership of backend issues end-to-end.

Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
