Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled QA Automation Engineer with hands-on experience in Playwright and TypeScript to design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for web applications. The ideal candidate should have solid expertise in automation testing, API testing, CI/CD integration, and Agile methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, enhance, and maintain automation frameworks using Playwright and TypeScript.
- Create and execute automated test scripts for functional, regression, smoke, and end-to-end testing.
- Design Page Object Model (POM) based automation frameworks and reusable components.
- Perform API testing using tools such as Postman and automation libraries.
- Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.
- Analyze test results, log defects, and work closely with developers for issue resolution.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Ensure test coverage, quality standards, and timely delivery across releases.
- Prepare test plans, test cases, automation reports, and testing documentation.

Required Skills
- 3+ years of experience in Test Automation.




- Strong hands-on experience with Playwright and TypeScript.
- Experience in JavaScript/TypeScript programming.
- Expertise in Web Automation Testing.
- Good understanding of Playwright concepts:

- Locators

- Fixtures

- Assertions

- Parallel Execution

- Trace Viewer

- Reporting
- Cross-browser Testing
- Experience with API Testing using Postman or similar tools.
- Working knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
- Experience with Git, GitHub, and version control practices.
- Knowledge of SQL and database validation.
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology.

Preferred Skills
- Experience in Banking, Financial Services, or FinTech domain.
- Exposure to BDD frameworks such as Cucumber.
- Knowledge of Docker and cloud-based test execution.
- Performance and Security Testing exposure is an added advantage.
