Database Administrator (DBA) Location - Mohali, Punjab, India Experience - 3–5 Years Role Purpose Manage, maintain, and optimize database systems supporting Americana's business-critical applications, ensuring high availability, performance, security, and compliance across on-premise and cloud (Azure/Oracle) environments. Key Responsibilities Administer and maintain MS SQL Server and Oracle Database instances across production, UAT, and dev environments Monitor database performance, tune queries/indexes, and resolve bottlenecks proactively Manage backup, recovery, and disaster recovery (DR) strategies; conduct periodic DR drills Implement and maintain database security — user roles, access controls, encryption, audit logging Support Azure SQL Database / Managed Instance provisioning, scaling, and cost optimization Collaborate with application teams (Flutter/.NET/Oracle OIC) on schema design, data modeling, and integration performance Manage patching, version upgrades, and capacity planning Set up and maintain monitoring/alerting (Azure Monitor, SQL Profiler, OEM)
