Treat Homes is a premium serviced apartment and corporate guesthouse company, managing ~150 active rooms across 63+ apartments and villas in 14+ cities. We serve 95+ corporate clients including Accenture, IBM, Deloitte, Kyndryl, PwC, EY, Solar Industries, Orient Electric, and Philips.

Role Overview

We're looking for an accountant who is not just compliance-strong, but also comfortable with data and light automation — a large part of our accounting workflow runs through Excel/Google Sheets before it reaches Tally, so tech fluency matters as much as core accounting knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

Manage monthly GST compliance — GSTR-1, GSTR-3B filing, and GSTR-2B reconciliation against purchase records

Handle TDS compliance — monthly deposits, quarterly returns, and correct section/rate application (including rent TDS under 194-I across our leased properties)

Maintain and use Cost Centres to track income/expenses separately across our 60+ properties, and generate property-wise reports

Reconcile and prepare data (Excel/Google Sheets) for import into Tally, ensuring clean ledger names, consistent formats, and no duplicate/missing entries before upload





Support vendor and landlord payment processing, including correct TDS deduction (194-I for rent, 194C/194J for contractors and professional services)

Assist with monthly MIS and expense tracking across properties (e.g., dry ration, utilities, consumables)

Flag and resolve discrepancies between books and GST portal data before return filing

Requirements

2+ years of hands-on accounting experience, preferably with multi-location or multi-entity businesses

Strong working knowledge of GST and TDS compliance (return filing, due dates, interest/penalty provisions)

Proficiency in Tally (voucher entry, ledger management); experience importing bulk data from Excel/Sheets into Tally is a robust plus

Solid Excel skills — VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, or equivalent reconciliation methods

Comfortable using AI tools (ChatGPT, Copilot, Excel AI features, etc.) to speed up reconciliation and reduce manual error — not mandatory, but a differentiator

- Attention to detail — this role involves regularly catching data mismatches before they become compliance issues

Prior experience in hospitality, real estate, or property management accounting
- Exposure to Google Sheets automation (IMPORTRANGE, QUERY, Apps Script)
