Role Description The Senior Accountant role at FlexiFunds is a full-time, on-site position based in Faridabad. This role is responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger maintenance, journal entries, accounts payable and receivable, and bank reconciliations.

The Senior

Accountant will prepare and review financial statements, support monthly and annual closing processes, and ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements. The role includes monitoring cash flow, analyzing financial data for decision support, and collaborating with internal teams to maintain accurate financial records.

Accountant will also assist with budgeting, forecasting, audits,



and the implementation of financial controls and process improvements.

Qualifications

- Strong proficiency in core accounting functions, including general ledger accounting, financial reporting, reconciliations, and month-end/year-end closing.
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial data interpretation to support management decisions.
- Knowledge of relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and compliance requirements, preferably within financial services or fintech.
- Advanced skills in accounting software and ERP systems, along with solid MS Excel capabilities for data analysis and reporting.
- Excellent attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills, with a focus on accuracy and integrity of financial information.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and support audits and regulatory reviews.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and drive improvements in accounting processes and controls.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (such as CA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent) are highly beneficial.
- Several years of progressive accounting experience, including responsibility at a senior or lead level; experience in fintech or lending businesses is an advantage.
