NRole Overview

nAs a Senior Software Engineer – Backend at Licious, you will design, build, and scale high-performance backend systems, migrate applications to microservices, and drive best practices in architecture and coding. If this excites you, we want you on our team!

NResponsibilities

- Scope and create technical documents for reference and reporting.
N
- Define High-Level (HLD)and Low-Level Designs (LLD) to guide development.
N
- Build, own, and optimize high-scale modules from scratch, while reimagining existing ones for scalability.
N
- Migrate applications toa Microservices Architecture, ensuring reusable code and libraries.
N
- Review code, enforce best practices,



and mentor SDE-I & SDE-II through continuous collaboration.
N
- Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
N
- Implement DevOps best practices, contribute to CI/CD pipelines, and drive agile development.

nWhat makes you a magic ingredient to our recipe?

- Have 5-8 years ofexperience under your belt, preferably in a consumer product company.
N
- Must be proficient withJava Programming with a solid understanding of MySQL/NoSQL
N
- DevOps exposure with knowledge of CI/CD, Kubernetes basics, and Horizontal Pod Autoscaler.

- Experience in scalable system design, distributed systems, and design patterns.
N
- Hands-on experience with message brokers, caching, and writing unit test cases.
N
- Strong communication skills to articulate business and technical ideas effectively.

- BE/BTech or an equivalent degree.
