Role & responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced professional with strong exposure to New Product Development (NPD) along with Supply Chain Management (SCM). The candidate will be responsible for coordinating new product development activities, supplier development, sourcing, cost optimization, and ensuring timely availability of components for current projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end NPD activities from RFQ/requirement stage to production launch.
- Coordinate with Design, Engineering, Quality, Purchase, Production and Suppliers.
- Identify and develop suitable suppliers for new components.
- Handle RFQ, quotation analysis, negotiation and commercial evaluation.
- Support new supplier development and supplier qualification.




- Ensure timely sourcing and availability of components for NPD projects.
- Track PPAP, APQP, sample development and part approval activities.
- Coordinate with suppliers for prototype/sample development and trial runs.
- Monitor project timelines and ensure on-time delivery of NPD components.
- Work on cost reduction, VA/VE and should-cost analysis.
- Manage supplier performance related to cost, quality and delivery.
- Resolve supplier-related issues and coordinate corrective actions.
- Maintain NPD trackers, supplier development status and project documentation.
- Support production ramp-up and smooth transition from NPD to mass production
