Job Summary The Scaffolder Supervisor is responsible for supervising and coordinating scaffolding activities at the project site, ensuring that scaffolding is erected, modified, inspected, and dismantled safely and in accordance with approved designs, project specifications, and applicable safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise scaffolding crews and allocate daily work activities.
- Plan and coordinate scaffolding erection, modification, and dismantling activities.
- Ensure scaffolding is installed according to approved drawings, designs, and manufacturer requirements.
- Inspect scaffolding before use and after any modification, adverse weather, or other conditions that may affect its stability.
- Ensure proper tagging/identification of inspected scaffolds and prevent use of unsafe scaffolding.
- Verify that scaffold components, platforms, access points, guardrails, toe boards, bracing, and ties are correctly installed.
- Ensure workers use appropriate PPE and follow site safety procedures.
- Conduct toolbox talks and communicate safe working practices to scaffolding teams.
- Monitor manpower, productivity, materials, and equipment requirements.
- Coordinate with construction, engineering, HSE, and other site teams to avoid work conflicts.
- Identify unsafe conditions and immediately take corrective action.
- Ensure scaffolding materials are properly stored, handled, and maintained.
- Maintain records of scaffold inspections, modifications, manpower, and daily activities.
- Report incidents, near misses, defects, and unsafe practices to the appropriate management/HSE team.




- Ensure housekeeping is maintained around scaffolding work areas.
- Train and mentor scaffolding personnel on safe erection, alteration, and dismantling practices.
- Ensure all work complies with applicable company procedures, local regulations, and recognized scaffolding standards.

Required Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma/ITI or equivalent qualification in construction, scaffolding, or a related trade preferred.
- Relevant scaffolding certification or competency qualification.
- 5–10 years of scaffolding experience, with supervisory experience preferred.
- Experience in construction, industrial, infrastructure, oil & gas, petrochemical, or similar projects is advantageous.
- Solid knowledge of scaffolding systems, components, erection methods, and inspection requirements.
- Ability to read and understand scaffolding drawings and technical instructions.
- Good understanding of workplace health and safety requirements.
- Good communication, leadership, and team-management skills.

Safety Requirements The Scaffolder Supervisor must prioritize safety at all times and ensure that no scaffold is used unless it has been properly erected, inspected, and approved for use by a competent person. Any defective or unsafe scaffold must be immediately isolated and reported for corrective action. Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
