Job Summary

IntVerse IT Solutions is looking for an experienced Vertex Consultant to support Vertex-related initiatives across indirect tax applications, integrations, testing, production support, and project delivery.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Vertex O Series / Vertex integrations and strong experience in enterprise application support, troubleshooting, and SAP-integrated tax processes.

Key Responsibilities

- Support Vertex application initiatives, enhancements, maintenance, and operational activities across on-premises and cloud environments.
- Provide application support, troubleshoot incidents, and ensure timely resolution of Vertex-related issues.
- Collaborate with IT, Tax, ERP, Infrastructure, and Business teams to resolve technical and functional issues.
- Support integrations between Vertex and enterprise platforms such as SAP, Ariba, CFIN, Transact, Transcend, Osprey, and other connected applications.
- Participate in testing, defect analysis, resolution, documentation, and production readiness activities.
- Support application releases, enhancements, deployments, and post-production activities.




- Monitor and maintain reliable tax determination processes and support business continuity for critical tax applications.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver project milestones.
- Prepare and maintain technical/functional documentation related to Vertex applications, integrations, incidents, and processes.

Required Skills & Experience

- 5+ years of experience in IT application support, consulting, or enterprise applications.
- Experience with SAP Ariba or SAP MM or SAP FICO or SAP ABAP is preferred.
- Hands-on experience with Vertex O Series or other Vertex indirect tax solutions.
- Experience with Vertex integrations and enterprise application environments.
- Strong understanding of application support, incident management, troubleshooting, and release activities.
- Experience working with complex integrations and cross-functional technical/business teams.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Valuable documentation and communication skills with a strong sense of ownership and follow-through.

Preferred Skills & Experience

- Experience with SAP and Vertex integration.
- Exposure to CFIN, Transact, Transcend, or Osprey.
- Experience supporting on-premises and cloud-based Vertex environments.
- Experience in testing, production support, incident resolution, and application releases.
