Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP PP Lead Consultant with 9+ years of overall experience and a minimum of 6+ years of hands-on SAP PP experience. The candidate will be responsible for leading Production Planning workstreams, driving solution design, managing stakeholder expectations, and ensuring successful delivery across implementation, migration, and support projects.

The ideal candidate should possess robust expertise in Production Planning processes, manufacturing operations, and integration with cross-functional SAP modules.

Key Responsibilities

1. Solution Design & Process Leadership

Lead requirement-gathering workshops and business discussions with stakeholders. Analyze business requirements and perform Fit-Gap Analysis.

Design and implement end-to-end SAP PP solutions aligned with business objectives.

Define AS-IS and TO-BE business processes and recommend best practices.





Provide process improvement recommendations to enhance manufacturing efficiency.

1. SAP PP Configuration & Functional Expertise Configure and support key SAP PP functionalities including:

Material Master

Bill of Materials (BOM)

Work Centers

Routings

Production Versions

Demand Management

Material Requirements Planning (MRP)

Planned Orders & Production Orders

Capacity Planning

Shop Floor Control

Batch Management

Repetitive Manufacturing (if applicable)

1. Cross-Functional Integration

Work closely with MM, SD, QM, PM, WM/EWM, and FI/CO teams to ensure seamless process integration. Support end-to-end manufacturing and supply chain processes.

Analyze and resolve integration issues impacting production and planning activities.

1. Project Delivery & Team Leadership

Lead SAP PP activities across all project phases including Blueprint, Realization, Testing, Cutover, Go-Live, and Hypercare. Manage deliverables and ensure adherence to project timelines.

Mentor and guide junior consultants and team members.

Review functional specifications, configurations, and testing artifacts
