Job Description
Role Overview: We are looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer with a minimum of 7 years
nof software testing experience, including robust hands-on automation across web (Playwright)
nand mobile (Appium) platforms. The ideal candidate owns automation frameworks end to end,
nbrings a strong testing-fundamentals background, and can independently drive quality strategy
nacross product releases while mentoring the wider QA team.

nTest Planning & Design

- Understand project requirements and develop detailed test plans, test cases, test scenarios, and the corresponding automation strategy.n
- Participate in requirement analysis, design discussions, and review meetings to provide input on testability, risk, and automation feasibility.n
- Decide what belongs in automation vs. manual/exploratory testing and define the regression scope for each release.n

nAutomation Framework Ownership

- Design, build, and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Playwright (TypeScript/JavaScript)



for web and Appium for Android/iOS.n
- Establish and enforce framework conventions — page/domain helpers, fixtures, test data builders, reusable utilities — so the suite stays maintainable as it grows.n
- Integrate automated suites into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins / Bitbucket Pipelines / GitHub Actions) with scheduled runs, parallel execution, and actionable reporting.n
- Own suite health: investigate and eliminate flaky tests, reduce execution time, and keep pass-rate signal trustworthy.n
- Execute and maintain runs on real devices and cross-browser grids (e.g. BrowserStack / Sauce Labs / device farms).n
