Role Description This is a full-time, on-site SAP FICO Consultant role based in Chennai. The SAP FICO Consultant will configure and support SAP FICO modules, including Finance and controlling components, to meet business requirements.

Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing business processes, gathering and documenting requirements, designing solutions, and performing system testing and integration. The role involves working with cross-functional teams to resolve issues, optimize financial processes, and support end users through training and post-implementation support. The consultant will also participate in system upgrades, enhancements, and continuous improvement initiatives to ensure stable and efficient financial operations.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong SAP FICO and Finance skills, including configuration, integration, and support.
- Candidates should possess solid Business Process understanding and CO-PA experience for costing and profitability analysis.




- Candidates should possess excellent Analytical Skills to interpret data, troubleshoot issues, and propose effective solutions.
- Relevant experience in SAP implementations or support projects, preferably in an in office consulting environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet project timelines in a dynamic environment.
- Professional SAP certifications in FICO or related modules are an added advantage.
- Hands-on experience in SAP FICO (ECC/S4HANA) with strong knowledge of GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Tax and Bank Accounting.
- Must have experience in finance business processes, period-end closing activities, SAP FICO configuration, testing, implementation/support, and integration with MM and SD.
- Good understanding of technical areas like IDocs, User Exits, BADI, Workflow, and basic Controlling modules (CCA, PCA, COPA) is required along with good communication and stakeholder management skills.
