Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced SAP EDI Consultant with 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in SAP EDI production/application support.

The candidate will be responsible for monitoring and troubleshooting SAP EDI interfaces, IDocs, mappings and business-critical integrations, ensuring smooth processing of electronic business documents.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Handle SAP EDI production/application support for business-critical interfaces.
- Monitor EDI messages and identify failed or incorrectly processed transactions.
- Troubleshoot issues related to SAP IDocs, EDI interfaces, partner profiles, mappings and communication channels.
- Support inbound and outbound EDI transactions between SAP and external customers/suppliers.
- Handle incidents, service requests and standard changes within agreed SLA timelines.
- Support onboarding and configuration of new EDI trading partners.
- Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for recurring production issues.
- Coordinate with SAP teams, developers and third-party EDI providers for complex issues.
- Reprocess failed IDocs/messages and ensure successful transaction processing.
- Maintain technical documentation, support records and knowledge articles.




- Communicate with customers and key users regarding incidents, risks and resolution progress.
- Contribute to continuous improvement through monitoring, automation and process optimization.
- Ensure system stability, service quality and customer satisfaction.

Key Skills

- 5 to 8 years of relevant SAP EDI experience
- Hands-on experience in SAP EDI Production/Application Support
- Solid experience in SAP IDoc monitoring and troubleshooting
- Experience with EDI interfaces and mappings
- Experience with Partner Profiles
- Experience supporting inbound and outbound interfaces
- Production incident management and SLA-based support
- Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
- Good communication and coordination skills

Good to Have

- Experience in EDI trading partner onboarding
- Knowledge of EDI communication channels such as SFTP, AS2, FTP, etc.
- Experience working with SAP teams, developers and third-party EDI providers
- Experience in monitoring, automation and process improvement
