Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced SAP Basis Consultant with 510 years of hands-on experience in SAP Basis administration, system monitoring, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and production support. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge of SAP environments and be comfortable working on implementation, upgrade, migration, and support activities.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform day-to-day SAP Basis administration and production support activities.
- Install, configure, monitor, and maintain SAP systems and application servers.
- Handle SAP system monitoring, performance analysis, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
- Manage SAP users, roles, authorizations, profiles, and system parameters.
- Perform SAP transport management across development, quality, and production environments.
- Monitor and manage background jobs, work processes, system logs, dumps, locks, and RFC connections.
- Perform SAP system start/stop, health checks, housekeeping, and routine maintenance activities.
- Support SAP kernel upgrades, patches, Support Packages, and system upgrades.
- Work on SAP system refreshes, client administration, and database-related activities.
- Support SAP installations, migrations, upgrades, and system copy activities.
- Troubleshoot issues related to SAP application servers, connectivity, interfaces, and system performance.
- Coordinate with functional, development, infrastructure, database, and other technical teams for issue resolution.




- Participate in 24x7 production support / on-call activities as required.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and operational procedures.

Required Skills

- 5–10 years of relevant experience in SAP Basis Administration.
- Strong hands-on experience in SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA environments.

- Good analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred

- Experience in SAP S/4HANA Basis.
- Exposure to SAP HANA, Fiori, Gateway, Web Dispatcher, and SAP Cloud environments.
- Knowledge of Linux/Unix and Windows operating systems.
- Experience in handling critical production issues and working within SLA-based support environments.
- SAP Basis certification is an added advantage.
