Role Description The SAP Advanced Business Application Programming (ABAP) Consultant will design, develop, and maintain custom SAP solutions to support business processes and project requirements. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating and optimizing SAP reports, enhancing standard SAP functionality through user exits, and integrating SAP modules using BAPIs and IDocs. The consultant will collaborate with functional teams to gather requirements, translate them into technical specifications, perform unit testing, and support system integration and deployment.

This is a full-time,



on-site role based in Coimbatore South, requiring close coordination with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure high-quality, reliable SAP solutions.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in ALV Reports for custom reporting and data presentation within SAP.
- Candidates should possess hands-on experience with User Exits to enhance and adapt standard SAP functionalities.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in BAPI for interfacing and integrating SAP with other systems.
- Candidates should possess experience working with IDoc for data exchange and system integration in SAP environments.
- Candidates should possess solid Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) skills within SAP ABAP for modular, maintainable development.
- Relevant experience with SAP modules (such as MM, SD, FI, or PP) and understanding of end-to-end business processes.
- Ability to analyze requirements, create technical specifications, troubleshoot issues, and optimize performance.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively in an on-site team setting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
