Key Responsibilities

- Handle end-to-end coordination of Air Freight and Ocean Freight Import and Export shipments.

- Coordinate with customers, overseas agents, shipping lines, airlines, trucking companies, warehouses, and customs brokers to ensure smooth shipment execution.

- Obtain freight rates and service options from overseas partners, carriers, and vendors for customer quotations.

- Prepare and submit competitive freight quotations for air, ocean (FCL/LCL), and multimodal shipments.

- Calculate freight charges, local charges, surcharges, customs-related costs, and overall shipment profitability.

- Follow up on shipment bookings, cargo readiness, cut-off dates, vessel schedules, and delivery timelines.

- Coordinate with suppliers and shippers regarding loading addresses, pickup arrangements, cargo availability, and shipment planning.

- Review and verify shipping documents including Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, Bills of Lading, Air Waybills, Certificates of Origin, and other trade documents.

- Resolve shipment-related issues involving documentation discrepancies, loading locations, customs requirements, cargo delays, and operational challenges.

- Maintain regular communication with customers and overseas partners regarding shipment status and operational updates.

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with overseas agents, carriers, and logistics service providers.

- Identify and approach prospective customers through calls, emails, and business development activities to generate recent business opportunities.

- Follow up on inquiries, negotiate rates,



and convert opportunities into confirmed shipments.

- Support management in business development, customer retention, and market expansion initiatives.

- Monitor shipment profitability and assist in cost control initiatives.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of International Freight Forwarding and Supply Chain Operations.

- Experience handling Air Freight and Ocean Freight imports and exports.

- Understanding of Incoterms, international shipping documentation, customs procedures, and transportation regulations.

- Ability to calculate freight costs, local charges, margins, and prepare quotations independently.

- Strong communication and negotiation skills.

- Ability to coordinate effectively with customers, suppliers, overseas agents, carriers, and internal teams.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for reports , Outlook, and freight forwarding software systems.

- Excellent problem-solving and customer service skills.

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple shipments simultaneously.

Preferred Experience

- Experience in North American, Asian, and European trade lanes.

- Knowledge of customs clearance procedures in Canada and the USA.

- Experience handling FCL, LCL, Air Freight, Project Cargo, and Cross-Border Shipments.

- Existing network of overseas agents and logistics service providers will be considered an asset.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
