Company Description Bridlen Shoemaker was founded by two veteran shoemakers, Mr. Hasan and Mr. Watanabe, to create high-spec classic shoes for discerning customers. The brand blends Japanese craftsmanship with a deep passion for leather and traditional shoemaking techniques.

Bridlen focuses on using fine materials and age-old methods to produce factory-made Goodyear welted shoes that closely resemble bespoke footwear. Starting as an online store in Japan, the brand has grown globally and continues to innovate with techniques such as 360° channeling and 3D upper making. Bridlen is dedicated to bringing more bespoke Goodyear welted processes into factory production while maintaining exceptional quality and detail.

Role Description The Sales Associate role is a full-time, on-site position based in Mumbai.

The Sales

Associate will engage directly with customers in the store, providing product information, guidance on fit and style, and a high level of service. Day-to-day responsibilities include greeting customers, understanding their needs, showcasing Bridlen’s shoe collections, processing sales transactions, and handling returns or exchanges in a professional manner. The role also involves maintaining visual merchandising standards, keeping inventory organized,



and supporting stock checks and replenishment.

The Sales

Associate will collaborate with the team to meet sales targets, collect customer feedback, and represent Bridlen’s values and craftsmanship in every interaction.

Qualifications

- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and provide personalized assistance.
- Sales and retail skills, including consultative selling, upselling, and familiarity with point-of-sale systems.
- Basic merchandising and store operations skills, such as product display, inventory handling, and stockroom organization.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in local languages is an advantage.
- Interest in footwear, fashion, or luxury goods and willingness to learn about Goodyear welted shoes and shoemaking processes.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, work flexible schedule (including weekends and holidays), and collaborate effectively in a team.
- Prior experience 1 to 2 years in retail or customer-facing roles is preferred ,training will be provided.
- Minimum high school diploma; further education in business, retail management, or fashion is a plus.
