Production Management
- Supervise daily plant operations to ensure smooth production
- Monitor PVC processing (extrusion, mixing, compounding, molding):
- Ensure achievement of production targets with optimal efficiency
- Coordinate with planning teams for production scheduling
Process & Quality Control
- Maintain product quality standards as per specifications
- Monitor process parameters such as temperature, pressure, mixing ratios:
- Identify and resolve process deviations and defects:
- Implement quality control procedures
Team Management
- Supervise and manage shop-floor operators and technicians:
- Allocate tasks and monitor workforce productivity
- Train staff on process, safety, and operational procedures
Maintenance & Equipment Handling
- Coordinate with maintenance teams for preventive and breakdown maintenance:
- Ensure proper functioning of machinery like extruders, mixers, and molding units:
- Minimize downtime and improve equipment efficiency
Safety & Compliance
- Ensure adherence to plant safety standards and SOPs:
- Implement health, safety, and environmental (HSE) guidelines:
- Maintain compliance with industry regulations and audits
Reporting & Documentation
- Maintain daily production reports and logs:
- Track raw material consumption and wastage
- Prepare reports on efficiency, downtime, and quality issues
Required Skills:
- Solid knowledge of:
