Job Overview

Key Responsibilities1. Daily Financial Operations
- Billing & Invoicing: Verify and record daily retail sales invoices, credit sales, and customer receipts.
- Cash & Bank Reconciliation: Reconcile daily cash counter collections, UPI/card payments, and bank statements against our accounting software.
- Expense Management: Track and record showroom operational expenses, utility bills, and vendor payments.

2. Inventory & Supplier Accounting
- Vendor Payables: Manage accounts payable for major tire manufacturers and local distributors, verifying purchase invoices against stock received.
- Inventory Auditing: Collaborate with the showroom manager to cross-check physical tire stock against accounting records to identify and resolve discrepancies.

3. Tax & Compliance
- GST Management: Prepare and file monthly GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B) and ensure correct computation of Input Tax Credit (ITC).
- Financial Reporting:



Prepare monthly Profit & Loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports for the management team.

Skills & Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com), M.Com, or equivalent accounting qualification.
- Experience: 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a retail showroom, automobile dealership, or distribution business.
- Software Expertise: Proficiency in Tally Prime (or relevant retail ERP software) and MS Excel is mandatory.
- Tax Knowledge: Strong understanding of Indian GST laws, TDS, and basic corporate accounting principles.
- Language: Fluency in Malayalam and a good working knowledge of English.
