Job Purpose

To perform laboratory testing, inspection, and quality analysis of raw materials, in-process materials, and finished rubber products to ensure compliance with customer specifications and quality standards.

Key ResponsibilitiesRaw Material Testing
- Conduct testing of rubber compounds, chemicals, and raw materials.
- Verify incoming material quality as per specification standards.
- Maintain records of test reports and inspection results.

In-Process Quality Checks
- Perform routine laboratory and production sample testing.
- Monitor process parameters and report abnormalities.
- Support production team in maintaining product quality.

Finished Goods Testing
- Conduct physical and dimensional testing of finished products.
- Ensure compliance with customer and internal quality requirements.
- Prepare test certificates and quality reports.

Laboratory Management
- Maintain laboratory instruments and testing equipment.
- Ensure calibration status of instruments is updated.
- Maintain cleanliness and 5S standards in the laboratory.

Documentation & Compliance




- Maintain laboratory records, logbooks, and reports.
- Support ISO/IATF documentation activities.
- Assist during customer audits and internal audits.

Safety & Workplace
- Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements.
- Handle chemicals and testing materials safely.
- Ensure compliance with EHS guidelines.

Required Skills:
- Knowledge of laboratory testing procedures
- Understanding of rubber/elastomer testing methods
- Basic knowledge of ISO/IATF quality systems
- Good documentation and reporting skills
- Familiarity with measuring instruments
- MS Excel and basic computer knowledge

Educational Qualification
- Diploma / B.Sc. in Chemistry, Polymer, Rubber Technology, or related field

Experience
- 0-3 years of experience in Quality Laboratory / Rubber Industry preferred
