Role & responsibilities
Ensure all workers follow site safety rules and regulations.
Preferred candidate profile
- Monitor use of PPE like helmet, shoes, gloves, belt, jacket etc.
- Conduct toolbox talks and safety training for workers.
- Prepare safety reports, checklists, and records.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses.
- Ensure scaffolding, lifting tools, machines are protected to use.
- Maintain fire extinguishers, first aid box, emergency arrangements.
- Coordinate with project manager, engineers, and contractors on safety matters.
- Ensure work permits for hot work, height work, excavation, electrical work etc.
- Stop unsafe work practices immediately.
- Maintain statutory compliance as per company and government rules.
- Promote safety awareness among all employees.
- Prepare emergency evacuation and rescue plans.
