Job Responsibilities

- Monitor day-to-day construction activities and ensure compliance with site HSE requirements.
- Identify and report unsafe acts, unsafe conditions and potential hazards to the HSE Officer/Site Engineer.
- Ensure proper use of PPE by all workers and maintain PPE compliance at the work location.
- Monitor safety during excavation, foundation, reinforcement, concreting, tower erection, lifting, material handling, work at height and stringing activities.
- Ensure proper barricading, access/egress, housekeeping and safe working conditions at work locations.
- Assist in conducting Toolbox Talks (TBT), safety briefings and worker awareness activities.
- Check availability and condition of safety equipment such as first-aid boxes, fire extinguishers, safety barricades, ladders and fall-protection equipment.
- Assist in monitoring compliance with HIRA/JSA, Method Statements, Work Permits and approved safety procedures.
- Ensure workers are properly inducted and trained before deployment.
- Immediately report incidents, near misses and serious safety violations to the HSE team.
- Assist the HSE Officer in safety inspections, observations and corrective-action follow-up.




- Support emergency preparedness, evacuation and emergency response activities.
- Maintain basic safety records and documentation as assigned by the HSE team.
- Coordinate with supervisors and workmen to ensure safe execution of construction activities.

Qualification

- ITI / Diploma / Graduate in any discipline.
- Safety-related qualification/certification will be preferred.
- Basic knowledge of construction safety and PPE requirements.

Experience

- 1–3 years of experience in construction, infrastructure, transmission-line or power-sector projects preferred.
- Freshers with relevant safety training/certification may also be considered.

Required Skills

- Good knowledge of basic construction-site safety practices.
- Ability to identify unsafe acts and unsafe conditions.
- Valuable communication and worker coordination skills.
- Willingness to work at remote/outdoor project locations.
- Basic knowledge of safety documentation and reporting.

Key Requirement

Candidates should be physically fit, disciplined and capable of regularly monitoring field activities and communicating safety requirements to workers and supervisors.
