Qualifications -Diploma/bachelors degree in engineering, Industrial Safety, Environmental Science, or related field.

Reports To- Plant Manager / Project Manager

Job Summary The Safety Officer is responsible for ensuring a safe and healthy work environment by implementing safety policies, conducting inspections, monitoring compliance, and promoting safety awareness among employees. The role focuses on preventing workplace accidents, injuries, and occupational hazards.

Key Responsibilities

- Implement and monitor workplace safety policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with statutory safety regulations and company standards.
- Conduct regular site safety inspections and audits.
- Identify workplace hazards and recommend corrective actions.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-miss events.




- Prepare incident investigation reports and recommend preventive measures.
- Conduct induction safety training for new employees and contractors.
- Organize toolbox talks, safety campaigns, and awareness programs.
- Develop and implement emergency response plans and mock drills.
- Monitor proper usage of PPE and maintain safety equipment.

Required Skills

- Knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety regulations.
- Risk assessment and hazard identification skills.
- Robust communication and report-writing abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
