Key Responsibilities

- We are seeking a skilled and experienced Redwood RunMyJob Support Lead with 5+ years of hands-on experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of fundamental concepts in job scheduling and automation. This role focuses on designing, automating, and monitoring complex IT batch jobs, data pipelines, and ERP integrations, ensuring seamless cross-platform workflow executions.
- The candidate will play a critical role in defining and managing process workflows, integrating SAP systems, configuring process servers and queues, and ensuring seamless scheduling and monitoring of tasks.
- Perform job configuration, testing, deployment, and production support across Development, Test/UAT, and deployment to Production environments.
- Good experience in ITIL process , change and Incident management
- Configure and develop Redwood RunMyJob jobs, process definitions, and job chains based on business requirements.
- Review job configuration requests and validate job names, structures, dependencies, and scheduling requirements.
- Create and configure schedules, calendars, keywords, file events, and time-based triggers.
- Configure pre-conditions, post-conditions, locks, waits, and Raise functions as required.
- Configure Job Queues, Process Servers, and related scheduling components for build requirements.
- Work with functional teams to understand requirements and provide appropriate RMJ solutions.
- Maintain build documentation, configuration details, and reusable templates.
- Identify opportunities to simplify and standardize job build processes.
- Provide technical guidance to team members on RMJ build and configuration activities.
- Monitor the system environment for performance, reliability, and errors, ensuring proactive identification and resolution of issues.




- Troubleshoot job failures and provide root cause analysis to prevent future occurrences.
- Document processes, configurations, and best practices to support system maintenance and knowledge sharing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Stay up-to-date with Redwood RunMyJob features and updates, and recommend improvements to the existing processes.
- Train and guide junior team members, as needed, on Redwood platform functionalities.

- Required Qualifications:
- The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of job scheduling and automation, combined with strong expertise in Java and Redwood Expression Language. This role focuses on developing, optimizing, and automating process definitions while integrating SAP systems and ensuring efficient configuration of process servers, queues, and scheduling elements.
- Review and Optimize process definitions using Java and Redwood Expression Language (REL) to meet business and operational needs.
- Implement logic using Redwood Expression Language for energetic and efficient job configurations.
- Job Scheduling Using File and Time Events
- Good experience and understanding of Calendar and Keyword creation, configuring Pre-conditions and Post-conditions
- Real time experience in configuration of lock, wait, and Raise functions
- Create reusable scripts and templates for automating and simplifying repetitive tasks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver customized solutions that align with business goals.
- Document processes, code, and best practices for system maintenance and knowledge sharing.
- Stay informed about the latest features and updates in Redwood RunMyJob to identify and implement system improvements.
