Pradhan Mantri Bhartiya Janaushadhi Kendra (PMBJK) is looking for a responsible and customer-friendly Pharmacy Staff / Chemist to join our retail generic medicine store.

Experience: 4-6 years preferred
Key Responsibilities
- Dispense medicines accurately as per valid prescriptions and customer requirements.
- Explain basic dosage and usage instructions to customers when appropriate.
- Handle customers professionally and provide valuable service.
- Manage billing and cash/UPI transactions.
- Maintain proper stock of medicines and healthcare products.
- Check stock levels, expiry dates, batch numbers and damaged/expired medicines.
- Assist with receiving and arranging new medicine stock.
- Maintain pharmacy-related records and documentation.
- Keep the store clean,
organized and properly stocked.
- Coordinate with suppliers and assist with stock replenishment.
- Follow all applicable pharmacy, storage and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure medicines are stored appropriately and are easily accessible.
Requirements
- Knowledge of generic medicines and salts.
- Relevant retail pharmacy/chemist shop experience will be an advantage.
- Good communication and customer-handling skills.
- Basic computer and billing knowledge.
- Ability to maintain accurate records and handle inventory responsibly.
- Honest, punctual, reliable and willing to work in a retail environment.
Pay: ₹8,221.46 - ₹15,000.00 per month
