Role Overview:

We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a Research Evaluation Specialist (PhD / Researcher / Professor) to work on a Full-Time basis. Managed through the Micro1 platform, this fully remote role engages academic researchers to rigorously evaluate grant proposals, scientific literature syntheses, and technical reasoning produced by frontier artificial intelligence models.

Key Responsibilities:

- Formulate high-level academic research evaluation tasks, grant critique scenarios, and methodology stress-tests.
- Evaluate AI-generated scientific syntheses, literature reviews, and research proposals against peer-reviewed academic rigor.
- Design multi-dimensional evaluation rubrics spanning methodological soundness, citation validity, and hypothesis testing.
- Pinpoint subtle methodological errors, statistical misunderstandings, or unsupported inferences in AI outputs.
- Collaborate with research leads to establish benchmark standards for scientific discovery agents.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Completed PhD and active/prior postdoctoral, faculty,



or principal investigator research experience in a scientific or quantitative field.
- Verifiable record of peer-reviewed publications and deep familiarity with academic grant review processes.
- Expertise in research methodology, experimental design, and quantitative/qualitative data interpretation.
- Outstanding academic writing, analytical critique, and communication skills.
- Self-directed with high attention to precision and academic integrity in a remote setting.
