Role Description This is a remote internship role for a Research Intern at Digistall – Your Gateway to E-Commerce.

The Research

Intern will collect and analyze data related to rural markets, local businesses, digital adoption, and e-commerce trends. Daily tasks include designing simple surveys, conducting online interviews or outreach, compiling information from reports and articles, and organizing findings into clear summaries and presentations.



The intern will support the team by identifying challenges faced by rural sellers, exploring potential technology solutions, and preparing research-based insights to guide product and strategy decisions. The role involves close collaboration with mentors, regular progress reporting, and adherence to ethical research standards.

Qualifications

- Strong research and analytical skills, including the ability to gather information from multiple sources and draw clear conclusions.
- Ability to organize data, prepare reports or presentations, and communicate findings in simple, concise language.
- Interest in e-commerce, rural development, and the use of technology for social impact.
- Comfort with remote collaboration tools, time management, and working independently with guidance.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English; knowledge of Indian languages is a plus.
- Current enrollment in or recent completion of a degree program in social sciences, business, economics, technology, or a related field is preferred.
- Demonstrated curiosity, attention to detail, and willingness to learn new research methods and digital tools.
