About the Role

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and support accounting records in QuickBooks.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable, including rent income, owner distributions, and vendor payments
- Perform bank, operating account, and trust/escrow account reconciliations
- Assist with month-end and year-end close, including property-level financials
- Prepare and review financial reports such as P&Ls;, balance sheets, and cash flow statements by property
- Support finance operations including cash flow monitoring, budgeting support, and expense analysis
- Assist with U.S.



tax-related activities, including sales tax tracking and coordination with external tax advisors.
- Maintain accurate property, tenant, and financial documentation; support audits.

Required Qualifications.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience in accounting or finance operations.
- Strong foundational knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP).
- Basic working knowledge of QuickBooks (Online and/or Desktop).
- Working knowledge of U.S. accounting and basic tax concepts.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.
- High attention to detail, accuracy, and data integrity.

Preferred Qualifications
- QuickBooks Certification (Online and/or Desktop)
- Knowledge of real estate-specific accounting concepts (CAM reconciliations, escrow/trust accounting, owner statements)
- Strong analytical, documentation, and stak
