THE ROLE

A consultative, field-heavy position.

You walk factory floors across Mumbai, Pune, and Nashik, read the machines, run discovery conversations with maintenance and plant teams, map sensor and IIoT opportunities, and convert technical conversations into quotations and orders.

You sell outcomes (reduced downtime, lower energy cost, real-time visibility), not part numbers.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Conduct 3-4 plant visits per week across the Mumbai-Pune-Nashik industrial belt; perform walk-throughs to identify sensor, IO-Link, and IIoT opportunities on machines and lines.
- Run structured discovery with maintenance, production, plant management, projects, and IT/OT stakeholders, asking questions like “Which machine causes the most unplanned stoppages?” and “How do you track motor health today?”
- Demonstrate sensors and products,



in office; execute proof-of-concept deployments on one machine to prove ROI before expanding. Prepare and follow up on quotations daily;
- Manage CRM pipeline with visit notes, contact data, and conversion tracking. Plan visits by geography ; rotate product categories to ensure full portfolio coverage.

TECHNICAL SCOPE

You will be trained across all of the following.

Position sensors (inductive, photoelectric, capacitive, ultrasonic), process sensors (pressure, flow, level, temperature, conductivity), condition monitoring (vibration, oil quality, octavis), IO-Link masters and gateways, IIoT platform, safety technology, and connection technology.

Industries: factory automation (automotive, FMCG, packaging, OEMs), process and utilities (F&B;, chemicals, pharma, compressed air, water), mobile machines, and Industry 4.0 digitalisation.
