Job Summary:
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform regular inspection, maintenance, and servicing of hospital medical equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to biomedical devices.
- Ensure proper functioning of ICU, OT, laboratory, radiology, and patient monitoring equipment.
- Coordinate with external vendors for equipment repair and AMC services.
- Maintain equipment service records and maintenance reports.
- Conduct preventive maintenance as per schedule.
- Ensure all biomedical equipment complies with safety standards.
- Assist hospital staff in the proper usage of medical equipment.
- Report major technical faults to management immediately.
- Monitor equipment performance and suggest upgrades or replacements when required.
- Ensure minimum downtime of hospital equipment.
Required Skills:
- Positive technical and troubleshooting skills
- Knowledge of hospital medical equipment and devices
- Basic documentation and reporting skills
- Ability to work independently and handle emergencies
- Good communication and coordination skills
Qualification:
- Diploma/B.Tech in Biomedical Engineering or related field
Experience:
- 1-3 years of experience in hospital biomedical equipment maintenance preferred
- Freshers with good technical knowledge may also apply
