Key Responsibilities
- Prepare cost estimations for precision engineering and machined components.
- Analyze drawings, specifications, and customer requirements.
- Calculate machining cycle time, material cost, tooling cost, and production cost.
- Coordinate with production, purchase, and design departments for costing inputs.
- Prepare quotations and maintain estimation records.
- Support process improvement and cost optimization activities.
- Understand CNC/VMC machining operations and manufacturing processes.
Required Skills:
- Knowledge of CNC/VMC machining processes.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and BOMs.
- Strong analytical and calculation skills.
- Valuable communication and coordination abilities.
- Familiarity with ERP/software for costing is an added advantage
