- Formulation of Technical Policy for secured LAP.

- Evaluate property technical reports for LAP (Loan Against Property). Ensure compliance with valuation standards and internal policies. Assess the Property quality, marketability, and liquidity, Construction status, age, and structural risks.

- Technical Report TAT adherence as agreed and defined in SOP.

- Identify technical risks in property documents and verify site feasibility and marketability of collateral.

- Manage and onboard external vendor technical agencies (valuation firms/technical officers) to ensure timely and quality reports.

- Ensure all technical documentation aligns with regulatory standards.

- Conduct spot checks on high-value properties and audit vendor reports to prevent fraud or overvaluation.

- Coordinate with Sales/Product/Credit/Technology and Operations to fine tune the process.





- Policy related training and frontline support for resolution of their queries.

What you would possess already:

1. BE / BTech in CIVIL Engineering (Mandatory)

2. Additional certifications in valuation (preferred)

3. 7 to 10+ years of experience in technical evaluation/property valuation, with at least 3-5 years in a managerial role within an NBFC or Bank

4. Proficiency in technical valuation techniques, risk mitigation, vendor management, and knowledge of local real estate laws

5. Candidates currently residing in Chennai or willing to relocate, with solid understanding of South India's local property norms.

6. Multilingual ability (Tamil and Telugu)

7. Hands-on experience & ability to work as an individual contributor for the first 12 months of launch of the product.
