We are looking for a detail-oriented Fabric Quality Controller to inspect and ensure the quality of fabrics during production and before dispatch. The role involves checking fabrics for defects, maintaining quality standards, coordinating with production teams, and ensuring only approved quality materials move forward in the supply chain.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Inspect raw fabrics, dyed fabrics, and finished materials for quality issues.

2. Check fabric quality, stitching, measurements, finishing, color consistency, and print alignment

3. Identify defects such as stains, holes, weaving defects, color variation, shrinkage issues, etc.

4. Ensure fabric quality meets company standards and client requirements.

5. Conduct fabric testing for:
Color fastness

Shrinkage

GSM/weight

Strength (if required)

6. Perform inline and final quality checks during production and before packaging

7. Maintain quality reports, inspection records, and rejection data

8. Coordinate with production, dyeing, and sourcing teams to resolve quality issues.

9. Ensure proper labeling, tagging,



and packaging quality as per brand guidelines

10. Suggest improvements to reduce defects and enhance product quality

Key skill Required

1. Robust Knowledge of fabric types, weaving, dyeing, printing, and finishing processes.

2. Understanding of common fabric defects and quality standards.

3. Attention to detail and quality standards and problem-solving ability.

4. Experience with handloom/natural dyed/artisanal fabrics preferred.

5. Good communication and coordination skills

Educational Qualification:
Minimum: 12th Pass / Graduate

Preferred: Diploma/Degree in Textile Engineering / Fashion / Apparel / related field

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
