WebArtifacts Private Limited is seeking an experienced and execution-focused Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead the technology development and infrastructure of NxtTurn, a fast-growing digital platform connecting students, institutions, and employers globally.

This is a senior employee leadership role responsible for managing the entire technology function of the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the overall technology strategy and execution for NxtTurn
- Design and supervise scalable platform architecture
- Manage frontend, backend, and DevOps engineering teams
- Ensure platform performance, security, and availability
- Oversee cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines
- Implement real-time features such as messaging, notifications, and activity feeds
- Support implementation of AI-based recommendation systems




- Coordinate with compliance teams for DPDP Act readiness
- Establish engineering workflows, documentation, and best practices
- Prepare the platform for large-scale user growth and production stability

Required Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in software development or system architecture
- Prior leadership experience managing engineering teams
- Strong expertise in scalable web platform development
- Experience with cloud environments (AWS / GCP / Azure)
- Knowledge of system security and data protection standards
- Experience working on social platforms, EdTech platforms, or SaaS products preferred

Preferred Skills:
✔ Experience handling high-user-load platforms

✔ Familiarity with microservices architecture

✔ Understanding of data privacy compliance frameworks (DPDP / GDPR)
