Role: Quality Manager*

Location: Chennai / Poonamallee

Industry: Auto Component Manufacturing

Experience: 8–15 Years

Qualification: BE/B.Tech – Mechanical

Salary: ₹50,000–65,000/month

Key Responsibilities:

- Handle complete Plant Quality Assurance & QMS activities.
- Manage Customer Complaints, OEM Customer Handling & Customer Audits.
- Conduct Supplier Audits & Certification Audits.
- Maintain TS 16949 / ISO QMS requirements.
- Handle NPD Quality, PPAP, FMEA/PFMEA, Control Plan & Poka-Yoke.
- Drive Internal Rejection & COPQ reduction.
- Manage Quality Lab, MSA & Gauge R&R; activities.
- Lead Kaizen, Cost Saving & Quality Improvement initiatives.
- Set up, train and supervise the Quality Team.
- Prepare and manage the Quality Department Annual Budget.
- Act as Management Representative (MR) for the plant.

Must-Have Skills:

- Auto Component Manufacturing Plant QMS
- TS 16949 / IATF 16949 Internal Auditor
- ISO/TS Lead Auditor Certification
- OEM Customer Handling experience
- Robust QMS knowledge
- Experience in Tier 1/Tier 2 Auto Component Manufacturing
- Exposure to Stamping / Painting units preferred
